49th AMXS CoC

Col. Michael Shea, the 49th Maintenance Group commander, reflects on the many accomplishments of Maj. Jeurney K. Meekins, the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron outgoing commander, during a Change of Command at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. June 9, 2015. During the Change of Command, Shea was the presiding officer and Maj. Rebecca A. Hart, the 49th AMXS incoming commander, assumed command. The 49 AMXS generates over 73 thousand flight hours annually in support of the Air Force's largest and fastest growing Formal Training Unit and combat operations around the world. Additionally, the 49 AMXS maintains a continuous forward presence with nearly 15 percent of assigned Airmen deployed in support of combat and humanitarian operations for multiple Combatant Commanders.
