Holloman's Commander and Command Chief go hands-on in the lab

Col. Robert Kiebler, the 49th Wing commander, compares a urine sample after performing a test during his familiarization trip to the 49th Medical Group at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Aug. 19. Every week the wing commander and the wing command chief visit a different unit to familiarize themselves with the various jobs performed on base, and to get hands-on experience performing the job. This week’s trip to the 49th Medical Group was focused on the medical laboratory where they learned about phlebotomy, urinalysis, hematology and chemistry.
