Alcohol Awareness Month is a public health program organized by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence as a way of increasing outreach and education regarding the dangers of alcoholism and issues related to alcohol. Holloman Air Force Base’s Alcohol abd Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment program is responsible for preventative education, assessments and outpatient treatment that help Airmen with drug and alcohol disorders get back to a world-wide qualified deployment status.
