49 MDG tests capabilities to immunize using the Seasonal Flu Vaccine.
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Eric Canfield, 49th Medical Operations Squadron, administers a Team Holloman member with the seasonal FluMist vaccine Oct. 21 at the Community Activity Center here. Vaccinations started on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. and are being given for 48 hours straight at the center. The 49th Medical Group is using this 48 hour period to exercise its real world capabilities to immunize and track the base populous in case of a potential disease outbreak. Holloman preps for Open House
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Members of the Open House committee and key players of the event discuss possible scenarios at a tabletop exercise in the Community Center here Oct. 1. The exercise was conducted to ensure the base is prepared for any event that could happen during the Open House. "The group learned that it is critical to have an effective communications plan, and to let the experts do their jobs while keeping our guests calm and informed," said Capt.
