Wing welcomes new commander, new name
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The Holloman Steel Talon Honor Gurad present the colors during the 49th Wing Change of Command at hangar 301, June 25, 2010. The 49th Fighter Wing guidon was cased by Lt. Gen Glenn Spears and the 49th Wing guidon was presented to Col. David Krumm. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. Jeff Harrigian, 49th Fighter Wing commander, takes part in his last "Commander's Corner" at 94 KYEE-FM with radio personalities Double J (James White) and Mike Mason. The June 11, 2010 show was the last for both Colonel Harrigian and Double J. Next month's "Commander's Corner" will be hosted by the new 49th Wing commander Col. David Krumm and Mason. The radio show is a monthly event hosted by the commander and the 94 KYEE morning personality and provides listeners with updates on what is taking place at Holloman, while also allowing them to call-in and ask questions.
