French graduate six RPA students from Holloman
Lt. General Antoine Creux, French air force deputy chief of staff, delivers a closing speech at the MQ-9 Reaper graduation ceremony at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Nov. 26. The French air force worked in collaboration with Holloman AFB to graduate six student pilots and sensor operators from the 16th Training Squadron. The students became the first-ever French air force members to learn the MQ-9 Reaper system, and their landmark graduation will mark the beginning of future coalition efforts between France and the U.S. to better utilize Remotely Piloted Aircraft across the world. New Mexico State Police cracks down on driver safety
The New Mexico State Department of Transportation has reduced the speed limit exiting Holloman Air Force Base to 35 mph. The signs reflecting the change will be placed within the next few weeks. Additionally, expect targeted speed enforcement by the NM State Police in this area. This road is particularly dangerous when it rains, as majority of the accidents have occurred in inclement weather.
