Droplets of sweat collect on his forehead as he charges forward, with his back arched and his body held snug against the handlebars of his bike.
  • 20th annual Oktoberfest

    Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. just celebrated its 20th annual Oktoberfest, hosted by the German air force. The actual German Oktoberfest, held in Munich, Germany, is a folk festival that runs from mid-or late-Sept. to the first week in October of each year. Thousands of Holloman Airmen and their families attended this year’s Oktoberfest, and enjoyed traditional Bavarian foods, beer and family-fun activities.
  • Holloman Wood Shop: more than a hobby

    The 49th Force Support Squadron Arts & Crafts Center is located adjacent to the Hobby Shop and the Shifting Sands Dining Facility. The center hosts several creative workshops, ranging from ceramics to woodworking.
  • Holloman’s 2016 Motorcycle Ride

    The 49th Wing Safety office hosted the annual Holloman Motorcycle Ride here Aug. 26. Nearly 40 riders from Holloman participated in the 100-mile ride that promoted safe habits and improved riders’ skills.
