Wing commander takes to airwaves
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Col. David Krumm, the 49th Wing commander at Holloman Air Force Base, speaks as a guest on a KRSY AM radio show Sept. 9, 2010. During the radio show, the commander introduced himself to listeners in the local area and discussed recent and upcoming happenings on base. KRSY is one of many local radio stations that welcome guest visits from base leadership, providing a platform for communication between the base and local community. Wing commander takes to airwaves
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. -- Col. David Krumm, the 49th Wing commander at Holloman Air Force Base, speaks to Mike Shinabery and Jean Vallance during a KRYS AM radio show Sept. 9, 2010. During the radio show, the commander introduced himself to listeners in the local area and discussed recent and upcoming happenings on base. His span of topics during the show ranged from the upcoming Oktoberfest hosted by the German Air Force, to the expanding Remotely Piloted Aircraft Formal Training Unit. 49th OG under new command
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. David Krumm, 49th Wing commander, hands the 49th Operations Group guidon to Col. Kevin Huyck as he assumes command of the group during a Change of Command ceremony July 9, 2010. In the past, Colonel Huyck served as the commander of the 95th Fighter Squadron at Tyndall AFB, Fla., and he comes to Holloman from Washington, D.C. 46th Test Group Change of Command
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. Michael Brewer, 46th Test Wing commander from Eglin AFB, Fla., hands the 46th Test Group guidon to Col. Raymond Toth during an assumption of command ceremony July 8, 2010. Colonel Toth comes to Holloman from Washington, D.C., and is a pilot with more than 2,500 flight hours in multiple aircraft.
